Aror University hosted leadership session to mark the launch of Aror Learning Institute (ALI)
Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur, successfully hosted a high-profile Leadership Session with Industry, marking the official launch of the Aror Learning Institute (ALI)—a collaborative initiative with the LUMS Learning Institute (LLI).
The session began with opening remarks by Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, Vice Chancellor, Aror University, who outlined the university’s vision of nurturing job-ready graduates equipped with transferable and future-relevant skills.
A keynote address was delivered by Dr. Arshad Ahmad, Former Vice Chancellor, LUMS, who emphasized the critical need to bridge the gap between academia and industry in order to prepare reliable, adaptable, and future-ready talent.
The event featured an engaging panel discussion with Aror University faculty members and students, focusing on aligning academic learning with evolving industry expectations and professional realities.
Dr. Hammad Alizai, Director, LUMS Learning Institute, presented an overview of the ALI–LLI partnership, highlighting its strategic role in faculty development, teaching excellence, and learning innovation.
The session concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Muhammad Abbas Baloch, Secretary, Universities & Boards, Government of Sindh, and Mr. Noor Ahmed Samoo, Secretary, Training, Management & Research Wing, SGA & CD, Government of Sindh, followed by an interactive Q&A session with industry participants.
