Aror University and LUMS Signed MoU for a Three-Year Partnership to Establish Learning Centre

Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur, proudly announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) for a three-year strategic partnership. The MoU marks the beginning of a collaborative journey to establish a Learning Intitute at Aror University, inspired by the successful model of the Learning Institute already thriving at LUMS.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, Vice Chancellor of Aror University, and Prof. Dr. Ali Cheema, Vice Chancellor of LUMS, in a formal ceremony held at October 16, 2025 at LUMS

The event was attended by senior faculty members, representatives from both institutions, and members of the Learning Institute teams, including Dr. Hammad, Director of the LUMS Learning Institute (LLI); Mr. Shoukat Ali, Director of Human Resources, Aror University; and Ms. Sorath, Program Coordinator, Aror University.

Through this partnership, LUMS will provide mentorship, technical expertise, and strategic guidance to help Aror University design and develop its own Learning Institute - an initiative that aims to strengthen teaching excellence, faculty development, and innovative learning practices.

Speaking at the occasion, the Vice Chancellor of Aror University expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that the partnership with LUMS “marks a significant step toward building a culture of continuous learning, research, and professional growth at Aror University.

The Vice Chancellor of LUMS also shared his vision for the collaboration, emphasizing the importance of knowledge sharing and institutional capacity building to uplift higher education in Pakistan.

The three-year partnership will focus on joint workshops, faculty development programs, research collaborations, and the co-design of professional learning opportunities.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment by both institutions to enhance the quality of education and foster innovation, ensuring that universities across Pakistan continue to learn from one another and grow together.
