Active Learning and Classroom Assessment Techniques
The second day centered on active learning strategies and classroom assessment techniques
that promote student engagement and continuous learning. Participants were introduced to a
range of learner-centered approaches designed to foster participation, critical thinking, and
collaboration in diverse classroom contexts. In addition, practical assessment techniques were
discussed to help instructors gauge student understanding during and after instruction. The
sessions encouraged faculty to rethink traditional teaching methods and integrate more
interactive and formative assessment practices into their classrooms.
